Valentine's Day is coming up!! I wanted to arrange for some flowers to be delivered to a special someone and
have it arrive in her classroom. This is her last year before graduation and I wanted it to be a memorable one. So I contacted some of her friends to find out which class she has on that day. I specifically requested for the friends NOT to say anything to her out of resepect. Even if they do not want to help, I asked them to keep their mouth shut. I really want it to be a suprise.
Well..the friends could not keep their mouth shut and revealed my plans to her!!
Moments ago, she emails me to inform me that my actions are affecting her friends and that she doesn%26#039;t want any flowers because it is a waste of space.
Unfortunately, the flowers has already been paid for and will arrive on Valentines Day regardless.
What should I do? Why do I feel bad? Did I do something wrong? Am I at fault here??

If you want to deliver it yourself, you could try this:

If you need something less expensive an idea is the buy them at the local flower shop or any place that sells them (my grocery store does sell them) and have a friend deliver them for you.

I have found that generally decent flowers doesn%26#039;t matter where in the world, delivery is $25-50.
I%26#039;ve sent flowers in Toronto for $30; I%26#039;ve also sent flowers in Laos, a country in SE Asia, where a meal costs $1....also for $30. I really don%26#039;t get it.

And send it on Fed Ex express, but make sure you %26quot;buy%26quot; the fastest way..it may cost a lot, but that%26#039;s how the flowers WON%26#039;T die. And make sure the flower absorbs it, and put it in a box, and make airholes in it, like about 3-5 on the top. And send it on Fed Ex express, but make sure you %26quot;buy%26quot; the fastest way..it may cost a lot, but that%26#039;s how the flowers WON%26#039;T die. He was a little embarrassed but enjoyed the havoc it created with the women in the office because most of them do not receive flowers. It created a memorable moment for everyone. I threw in a balloon and some candy too. In a way it was a payback for all the times he came in the bank I worked at with those very loud singing stuffed animals, flowers and balloons. The bank was very big and I was the front desk person. The loud echo from the songs and peoples stares were quite memorable to me, everyone laughed and I wanted to crawl under my desk. When she looks up from reading it, tell her that you were foolish to have trusted anyone else with a message from your heart.

If you%26#039;re meeting your loved one at a large international airport I would doubt they would arrange that for you as it%26#039;s very busy. However if your meeting them at a smaller airport where they only have five flights for that airlines a day they might be more willing to help you out. Also remember no liquids are allowed to go thru security so if it something in a vase it%26#039;s not going to be allowed thru no matter who you talk to.

Anybody else have problems getting flowers delivered from ftd.com?
A bouquet of flowers was supposed to arrive at my girlfriend%26#039;s place on 02/14/08 and never did. It%26#039;s now the 15th and I can%26#039;t get a hold of anyone at ftd.com. FedEx says the flowers have yet to be in their possession.

I ordered from FTD online on 2/12/07. The website says the flowers were delivered, but they weren%26#039;t.
The customer service line %26quot;isn%26#039;t taking calls at this time%26quot; (so much for 24/hr a day service!)
I was wondering if there might be some widespread problem that has them all tied up?
I emailed customer service and have not received a response.
NOW I have to file a dispute with my credit card that will take 3-6 weeks to resolve.
I wil NEVER use FTD again!

Im sending 6 pink roses with 2-3 stargazer lily%26#039;s with baby%26#039;s breath intertwined, does this sound like a good combination of flowers to brighten someone%26#039;s day? My son bought us tickets to proms in the park last year and flower show tickets this year. A fabulous treat that I would not have bought myself, he spent around £30. Why not get them tickets to go somewhere different that they would enjoy - theatre, musical, football match, opera or magazine subscription.

Is it ok to have flowers delivered to a grave?
My mom just passed away 4 months ago and today is her birthday. But I am studying abroad in another country and can%26#039;t visit her grave. I was really wanting to put some fresh flowers on her grave. Would it be strange to call a flouriest and have them deliver flowers to her grave? And if so..then what if they ask what to put in the card? Or will it have a card? I just really want to do something special but am having a hard time thinking what to do while 14,000 miles away. Also, what could I do for my dad to make this day easier?

You can make the day more special by sending flowers to those people who loved her very much and may still be grieving (like your dad), in her memory. You will be celebrating her life with other people. On the card, you could include a memory of your mom, something like, remember the time she took us ice skating? Sharing memories of your mom together is the best way of honoring her on her birthday.
Reply:I work at a cemetery and yes we have had flowers delivered before, the florist will need to know what location in the cemetery your Mom`s grave is located but someone in the office should be able to help with that. I would send your Dad a special gift also. I lost my Dad in January and we took my Mom out to eat on Valentines Day and sent her some fresh flowers and I think it helped her alot on the first Valentine Day without my Dad. I am very sorry to hear about your Mom.

The only way it might work is if you can get the office at the cemetery to agree to accept the delivery and then have the flowers brought to the gravesite by someone from the cemetery. Another thought is to send the flowers to your dad, as this day is bound to be really hard for him. My sympathies to you both.

Its her birthday tomorrow, and I want her to get a big bouquet. Its about $50 or more dollars for a decent little birthday one. Is it cheaper to get it myself? They didnt show up until 2 hours after school ended and I called and called and they dont answer the phone, they just say the flowers are on their way and they have lots of calls please call back another day. Never Ever! Go through them! They didnt even offer a refund or anything. All they do is over charge you for flowers and pay a local shop to do the business. Good luck I hope it works out for you.

Can flowers (such as roses) be delivered by the florist to schools (high school)?
I want to get flowers delivered to someone in my school and was wondering if the florists can do that and if the school would allow it. I want it to be delivered to their actual class. It%26#039;s a public high school in San Diego. Just want to see if anyone knows cause I don%26#039;t want to ask the school if it%26#039;s a guaranteed no. Also, do florists do that?

Reply:well i usd to work fast food and it can be really hectic. if its during a rush or shes not on break she cant exactly take time away from her duties to sign for them and take them out to the car or whatever. id say its best to find out when her lunch hour is or what time she gets off and show up in person and give them to her. that way there isnt a line of angry customers wiating while she signs for them and then has no where to put them. those kitchesn have strict regulartions there is probably some rule where u cant have flowers in the food preparation part so she woujld have to find a place for them

I was wondering if florists can deliver them without any name, address, or order number attached to the flowers so they can%26#039;t figure out who sent them. Is this possible?
