Did anyone else out there have trouble with their flowers from FTD not being delivered 2/14/07?

I ordered from FTD online on 2/12/07. The website says the flowers were delivered, but they weren%26#039;t.


The customer service line %26quot;isn%26#039;t taking calls at this time%26quot; (so much for 24/hr a day service!)


I was wondering if there might be some widespread problem that has them all tied up?


I emailed customer service and have not received a response.


NOW I have to file a dispute with my credit card that will take 3-6 weeks to resolve.


I wil NEVER use FTD again!

Yeah, I had the same problem. I ordered flowers for my wife on the 8th, delivery was set for the 14th. Since it wasn%26#039;t delivered I checked the tracking and it didn%26#039;t leave the florist until the 14th. That was from Ohio, we live in California. I have no idea what they%26#039;re thinking. I feel embarrassed having them show up a day late, even though my wife says she doesn%26#039;t care. NO ONE I KNOW WILL EVER USE FTD AGAIN. If there was a problem with weather I can deal with that...but why did they leave the florist the day they were supposed to be delivered, and aren%26#039;t there local shops they can be sent from? There are no weather problems in CA. An email or some form of communication would have been nice.
Reply:The same thing happened to me. I%26#039;m furious. I%26#039;m contacting the Better Business Bureau, they have resolved issues for me before. I suggest you all should do the same. Good luck Report It

Reply:I did but I found out they don%26#039;t deliver to federal prisons so I wasn%26#039;t surprised.
Reply:My boss did , he orded them (2-9-07) and wanted them sent to the office on V-Day, (because the office is not open on wekeds) they delivered them the next day (2-10), which was a saturday, that Monday I came to the office and they were at the front door, and they got frozen and of course runied. BELIVE me he was not happy..... so yeah they SUCK..
Reply:a lot of flower services had problems because most of the north east was hit with a horrible storm and it caused them to have to cancle deliveries and reschedule them for today. i would say if you dont get them today (or whomever was recieving them doesnt) call them again and get your money back. i know a few places were giving a $20 refund because of the problem
Reply:No... but you may have cuz I wuz watcing the newz this morning and it said they delivered late cuz of the weather.
Reply:Right there with you-- FTD promised shipping on 2/14, it%26#039;s 2/15 and still no sign of those flowers! They might have a glitch-- hope you get more answers to prove it! NO FTD-- your local florist can do the same thing for the same price with better guarantees and service...
