Can a woman give another woman flowers on Valentines day?

I have this best friend of 9 1/2 years and we haven't been speaking for about 5 months. I called her last week and she said she needs more time alone, but I need her friendship now, I've already given her 5months alone. Should I have flowers and chocolate deliver at her job or would she think I'm gay or something? By the way I'm 100% staright.

you two have been friends for 91/2 years so she shouldnt think its gay to be recieving flowers and chocolate from her best friend. if she says she needs for time then just give her some more time, then after a while call her again and ask her whats bothering her.

In your situation though she might find it a bit pushy-maybe leave it a little longer and then send flowers out of the blue.

On the other hand although i dont doubt your 100% straightness...but why are you forcing yourself on her when she just told you she needs time alone?

Reply:I've given and received flowers from my best friend, and we are also straight. It's very nice, and I think you should. However, I would skip the chocolate because both flowers and chocolate appears to be a little too romantic for comfort.
