Questions for the Ladies on flowers?

Ladies what do you prefer. Knowing that a dozen roses will cost your significant other $125 or so to have delivered or to give you, would you prefer something else that you do together or do you like the flowers.

I would much rather have anything else but flowers.Flowers are nice every now and again,the cheap ones.There is no real thought that goes into flowers.I would rather go have fun. go to the spa,or receive a gift that required some thought.
Reply:While flowers are a nice gesture, I'd feel horrible knowing my husband spent that kind of money on something that would wilt in a few days. I'd much rather we spend time together doing something intimate and less expensive...or at least more memorable.
Reply:Flowers die and if you want to spend that much money on something that will be dead in a week go for it but a woman would rather have a nice dinner, a weekend getaway or some nice words written on a piece of notebook paper left where she would find it and trust me a smile will be on her face the rest of the day.
Reply:well I personally dont like flowers because you get them and they start to die immediately. Its not a very nice gesture to say "here are some flowers watch them die" if your looking to get something for someone look for something that lasts, even doing something together because the memory will last

Reply:Just one rose and a nice dinner would make me happy. But then again, I am not hard to please.
Reply:I would be happy with a half doz. roses, and a romantic dinner with my man. Or a bokay of red roses and white carnations( carnations are pretty and reasonable and they go well mixed in with roses), with a gift of gold (doesn't have to be the most expensive, but nice)...given with a little love an attention.
